Glow in the dark masterbatch – Product Description
Everyglow Glow in the dark masterbatch (also known as Photoluminescent masterbatch) are specially engineered luminous PVC plastic compounds designed for direct processing in standard plastic manufacturing equipment. Made with high-brightness long-afterglow phosphorescent materials uniformly dispersed in polymer carrier resin, these pellets offer excellent compatibility, stability, and ease of use.

They absorb and store energy from natural light, indoor lighting, or UV sources, then release a bright, long-lasting glow in dark or low-light conditions. Featuring high luminosity, uniform color, good weather resistance, and non-toxic composition, they maintain consistent performance during injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and film blowing.

How to Use Glow in the dark Masterbatch ?
Photoluminescent pellets (glow-in-the-dark masterbatch) are ready-to-use plastic compound granules designed for standard plastic processing equipment. Follow these steps for best results:
Mixing Ratio: Mix 5%–20% photoluminescent pellets с 97%–85% natural plastic resin pellets (PP, PE, ABS, Л.С., ПВХ, EVA, и т.д.).
Higher ratio: Brighter and longer glow (Photoluminescent pigment loading as high as 50%)
Drying (If Needed): If the material is hygroscopic (PET, ПА,PETG), dry at 70–85°C for 2–3 Hours to avoid bubbles or poor surface finish.
Processing: Use in normal plastic production processes:
- Injection molding
- Экструзия (sheets, profiles, pipes)
- Blow molding
- Film blowing
- 3D printing filaments
Set temperature according to the base plastic resin, not the luminous masterbatch.
Литье & Cooling
- Process under normal pressure and speed.
- Cool products naturally or with water cooling.
Activating the Glow
- Expose the finished product to natural light, indoor light, or UV light for 3–10 minutes.
- It will glow brightly in dark environments for several hours.
Tips
- Avoid overheating to prevent color change or reduced brightness.
- Do not mix with dark or heavily pigmented resins, as they may block light absorption.
- For best glow performance, use light-colored base resins (белый, transparent, natural).
