The Invisible Signal: Infrared Fluorescent Pigment

Infrared (IR) Fluorescent Pigments (also known as NIR-to-NIR emitters) are advanced functional materials that absorb light and re-emit it within the Near-Infrared spectrum (700nm to 1700nm). Unlike standard fluorescent pigments that glow in bright neon colors under UV light, these pigments remain completely invisible to the human eye even whenglowing—they can only be seen through specialized NIR cameras, sensors, or night-vision equipment.

Infrared fluorescent pigment are able to absorb non-visible light at UV-A or VIS region and emit Near Infrared Light (800–1100 nm).
